We provide volunteering opportunities. When doing regulated work we will ask you to apply to join the PVG scheme. Disclosure Scotland carries out criminal record checks when you apply.
It shares the results of these checks with you and PEP. We can use this information to help decide if you’re right for the role you’re applying for.
We advertise opportunities available within our various services; some of this information appears on our website and social media channels.
By using our services, you agree to notify us of any changes that are relevant to your registration with us.
It is PEP’s responsibility to determine the suitability of any potential volunteer that expresses an interest in volunteering with us.
We will respect the confidentiality of any information given and will ensure secure procedures are in place for storing and managing that information, in line with GDPR.
Our in-house database transfers information on your opportunities to the MILO system, managed by SCVO and the Scottish Government as part of the Third Sector Interface (TSI).
We may also use your information anonymously to produce reports for funders and the public about our activities and to promote and develop volunteering.

All staff and volunteer drivers must carry out their duties within the RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents and the CTA (Community Transport Association) guidelines.
